What can I recycle in Latrobe?

Latrobe has single-stream recycling. You can recycle cardboard, paper, aluminum and steel cans, and plastics #1 and #2 only. No glass bottles or jars, no plastic bags, no styrofoam, no pizza boxes, and no food-contaminated items. Recycling goes out the same day as trash.

What day is trash pickup?

Trash is collected Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday depending on your route. If you're not sure which day is yours, call City Hall at (724) 539-8548 or check with a neighbor. Pickup is weekly year-round.

Do I need a sticker for trash?

If you have bagged trash service, you will need a sticker placed on every bag. Toter service is also available and does not require stickers. Stickers can be purchased at City Hall, Shop 'n Save, or the Transfer Station located at 696 Mission Road, Latrobe.
