What can I recycle in Latrobe?
Latrobe has single-stream recycling. You can put out cardboard, paper, glass bottles and jars, aluminum and steel cans, and plastics #1 through #5. No plastic bags, no styrofoam, no food-contaminated items. Recycling goes out the same day as trash.

What day is trash pickup?
Trash is collected Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday depending on your route. If you're not sure which day is yours, call City Hall at (724) 539-8548 or check with a neighbor. Pickup is weekly year-round.

Do I need a sticker for trash?
Yes. Latrobe requires city trash stickers on every bag or can you set out. They cost $5 for a sheet of 12. You can buy them at City Hall or several local stores. No sticker, no pickup.
